After what seems like FOREVER, Gayle is back! I guess it’s a good thing that you were missed…worse if no one new you were gone. BUT, we DID know you were gone, Gayle and have been wondering…where on earth is Ms. Gayle King!?! Well, she’s back and ready to talk…
- On the last 2 weeks – TRAVEL included LA (work), New York (work), France (play), and Las Vegas (work…probably a little play too I’m suspecting…) Gayle has been racking up the frequent flyer miles and making new friends on each flight I am sure. A full 2 weeks…but she’s glad she’s back…so she can TALK about everything in the news…
- On the NEWS – Gayle covers it all…Wiernergate, Gabby Giffords FB photo, how she spent her time in each of the places mentioned above…everything!
- On catching up with Chuck Todd – Host of “The Daily Rundown”, Chuck is now flying solo…and feeling a little lonely now that his partner, Savannah Guthrie has moved on to The Today Show.
- What about the Republican debate tonight and all of the topics that might be covered. How will the participants do? Chuck weighs in on his take…and what we should watch for.
- Chuck on Sarah Palin…Will she run? “I think she wants to leave on her own terms,” Chuck says. Will she run? He thinks no…”the best way for her to be relevant is to do what she is doing…get a lot of attention…and then leave and not run on her own terms.”
- Chuck on Wienergate – Gayle’s upset about the lying…and what does Chuck know about Bill Clinton calling him? “He’s frustrated with him…because he’s not listening to his advice….they just want to support his wife, Huma…” aka the Clinton’s are Team Huma. As a side note…maybe they should watch OWN’s Unfaithful or In the Bedroom tonight – totally targeted for those couples having trouble. So here’s my question…what kind of rehab is he going to…EGO rehab?

- On missing student Laura Spierer – Nationwide search…Gayle makes sure that we are aware. “You cannot walk alone by yourself at all hours of the night,” Gayle says. Be aware women! Just don’t do it.
- On Erica Jong’s new book, “Sugar in My Bowl: Real Women write about Real Sex” – Gayle is talking today with both Erica and her daughter, Molly, about sex. But before hearing about the book, Gayle has to get her take on Anthony Wiener, today’s story. Gayle asks, “What do you think…is it about sex? Is it about power? “I think it’s about self-destruction,” Erica says. “An ambitious politician knows that stuff on the Internet doesn’t disappear.” But…about the book. It’s real women talking about all kinds of stories on sex…real stories and honesty. Gayle asks Erica…why sex? “…Because it was really something new for women to be free to talk about…sex,” Erica says. Molly has a book too, “The Social Climber’s Handbook.” Check them both out next time your at a book store…
