Rosie Show

Rosie Recap- Cedric the Entertainer & Nancy Grace on “The Rosie Show”

Stand up monologue was set aside for more important matters…RO skyped in Naomi Wolf who told her story of her interactions with the Occupy Wall Street Movement. After the protestors were moved across the street, her and her husband gathered a few people to stand their legal ground…peacefully. As an author and political consultant, she knew the law and recognized that the police didn’t have the legal right to do what they had been doing that night. When ordered to leave, she calmly approached the officers that had surrounded her but was met with a mega-phone full of orders as opposed to communication. She could hear her mother’s voice within in her – “Activism is the rent you pay for living in democracy”. Within moments she was arrested despite the scrutiny. As she spoke with the police as she was released it was clear that the permit law didn’t even matter…the police had the ability to arrest her for a variety of fluff laws. It is obvious that she wasn’t anti-police, but there is a serious concern regarding our freedoms and the ability to voice our concerns. As I watched I was taken back to the days I was glued to CNN watching Egypt rise up to be heard. I wonder how we’d react if we thought the footage was shown and we didn’t recognize it as the United States. It is shameful the hypocrisy. Once thing is clear…we all the responsibility to find out what is truly happening.

Nancy Grace joined the show and shared how she is obsessive about her kids. With nannies and cameras everywhere, she leaves nothing to chance. Her and partner, Tristan MacManus, went on to reveal the secrets of DWTS weight loss and wardrobe malfunctions.

Then Cedric the Entertainer owned the stage with stories of performing, a Jerry Seinfeld party story, his hat collection, a hilarious “Soul Train” Awards clip, his thoughts of being on DWTS and so much more. You have to check out his “Mocha Chocolate” moves . I totally forgot how funny he is! Be sure to catch him hosting the Soul Train Awards in November.

Then the show ended with the fastest game ever…”Quick Show”!

Tune in for Rosie’s next guest…Behind the Scenes with “The Rosie Show”!
