  1. My heart goes out to Tatum, & to Ryan (& Griffin & to the rest of the family)! They are beautiful people, with so much natural talent; but they let their emotions take over (along with the past [bad] memories they can’t seem to get away from) and it ruins their present lives! They need to stop all that & just “go forward” from now on! I wrote something once that might just offer them some ‘food for thought’ here…it went like this: ~ “All mistakes in my life were just stepping stones…now I must use them to reflect back to where I started from…and to what I started out to do.” ~ (Just look upon your past mistakes as ‘stepping stones’ you laid down, to reflect back on, then to go forward into the present time, & evade the [past] ‘mistakes’ from here on in). *So be it* Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

  2. You guys have the same relationship I had with my father. Tatum. I too am in recovery & went through the same thing you did Tatum with my father but after several years later he came to my celebrations. We had ups & downs but I had to establish boundaries. I also had to realize I could not change him & worked on not reacting to him or let him push my buttons. We had a verbal fight and I left for the holidays when I got a call from the hospital, he was dying from drugs & just abuse to the body, & he died before I got see him. I felt bad at first but was reminded that we always fought & that was how we communicated. It was not the relationship I would like my dad & I to have but it was our relationship. Any effort that is put into rebuilding your relationship is all worth it & usually it is hard because we are so much alike. As I watch you’ll, I can not believe how much he is like my father & you guys interacting with each other was like ours as well. Ryan, please don’t give up, you guys need each other’s support.
God bless you’ll & thank you for sharing with the world. It has been 10 years this last christmas day since he passed & I still think of him. Good luck to both of you’ll.
    Carla
