About breaking news about White House – The WH has reversed it’s decision and is no longer going to protest the constitutionality of a law that bans the federal recognition of same sex marriages. This is great news for gay rights groups all over the country…break out the dancing shows, we’re going to be having some weddings! Why is it that I am hearing the “It’s raining men…” song?
About Gabby and Mark – Mark’s taking off on the space shuttle in April…and Mark believes that Gabby will be there. She seems to have the will…I bet they will find a way.

About Miss San Antonio Fighting for her crown – The courts believe the pageant officials and are siding with them…so, give back the crown and move on ex-miss San Antonio. Official or not…Gayle and I are both disappointed…you would have thought the pageant could have handled themselves a little better.
About Brian Williams – “The 7th anchor managing editor in NBC’s Nightly News…and the most highly decorated news anchor of the modern era.” Put that on a sash, Mr. Williams! Brian talks about the Middle East… “there are so many components…it’s like a big jigsaw puzzle…this isn’t simple and there is not just one component,” Brian tells us. Gayle tells us…she bonded with Brian at an Animal Hospital over 16 years ago… and the impression that both families made on each other. “I don’t quite trust someone who doesn’t love a dog…that’s my standard for life,” Brian tells us. I love him. I totally agree.
A newscaster…that’s what Brian wanted to be since he was a little kid. It was a dream of his…and now he’s living his dream. He likes all kinds of music…but his favorite…Allison Williams…his daughter…the singer…comedian…actress… and now cast in “Girl” from HBO…shooting this Spring. (We’ll be watching for her) So, Gayle has her on Skype to attest to his being awarded Father of the Year. “He is the proudest dad in the world…,” Allison tells us. She would leave him notes about her day…and he would leave her notes and gifts when they didn’t see each other too much…juggling both crazy schedules and family life. Now, I like Brian even more…was it possible?
About Lady Gaga – Crazy rise to stardom. In 2 years…she’s sold 14 million albums….won 5 Grammy Awards….and just this week, her single, Born this Way, became the 1000 #1 song on Billboard. “I adore you, Lady Gaga,” Gayle tells her. Gayle shows us that she greeted Lady Gaga in her heals, fishnets and her one piece spanks. Gayle asks Gaga about the meat dress… “I really didn’t see the difference between wearing meat or wearing leather…and perhaps that was one of the things I was trying to say…I was trying to say a lot with that,” Gaga tells us. “People take me too seriously but not seriously enough…I think that in today’s pop culture there is a lot of analysis…” she notes. “Why are you doing that? They may ask…and then, if you don’t, they say, “You’re boring.” She’s right…today…there seems to be lots of rules for young Hollywood today.
So, the one thing that Lady Gaga would never wear…flip flops. She dresses for her fans…I choose to live the glamorous life… “my fan’s don’t want to see me wearing flip flops taking out the garbage.” It’s about being who you are… You are ok. Born this Way is Gaga’s latest single…and says, “I wanted to make a record that was to the point…I wanted to create something that was a cultural religion experience…an anthem that didn’t skirt the issue.”
Gayle asks, is Lady Gaga in love? Gayle said, “I saw something very interesting backstage…he seemed like the better half to Lady Gaga…what would you like us to know about him?” Gaga smiles, laughs nervously and says… “…that he does not exist.” That’s a way to get around that question. Kudos to Gayle for asking it. Gaga goes on to tell us that with the new single that she has made 2 music videos…a stripped down version will be released and her portion of the money will go toward an anti-bullying charity. How awesome.
Gayle asks, “do you every worry about topping yourself?”, and Gaga answers thoughtfully, “Well, I just don’t care what people think of me…to be perfectly blunt…I didn’t get into this industry to become worshipped by anyone…I’m interested in worshiping my fans…and making them feel worshipped.” We love you Lady Gaga! My flip flops love you too!
