- About Gayle’s weekend plans – Jay Leno and the Grammy’s. She’s excited about the big music weekend since it’s the Grammy…and she’s going to LA to go to a lot of Grammy festivities. What to wear? - About Gayle King’s Justin Bieber Fever – Never Say Never comes out this weekend….and her one woman crusade about JB is funny. “It’s a good story and home town boy makes good.” She loves it. I think it’s hilarious!
- About Valentine’s Day – Some tips she’s sharing…1. Write love letters. 2. Don’t take things personally 3. Find a new way to say “I love you.” 4. Renew your vows. Get to it. But wait….where is “give a hug”? I love that gift!
- About Bill Paxton – Hi Bill. He’s with Gayle talking about HBO’s Big Love….the last season and also about life. Then, he tells a great JFK Story. He was a young boy in Ft. Worth Texas in 1963…and his father took him to see him during the morning of JFK’s visit that November morning. Wow. What a story to have. I just visited the 6th Floor Museum in Dallas this summer….recounting what happened that day with my favorite uncle and with my favorite nephew. It was very moving…what a piece of history…what a moment in time.
- About Lisa Kudrow – Who Do You Think You Are? I love this show and I’m so glad that Lisa helped bring it to the US for this audience…I can’t wait to see the new shows. Wait…Gayle….do you want to do the show? Do you know who YOU ARE? Are you “generation curious”? I did love the part of the interview when you recounted one of your favorite Phoebe from Friends lines: “I just felt something brushing against my right leg…wait. It was my left leg.” So funny!
- About Isaiah Mustafa, The Old Spice Guy – OMG those commercials are so funny! There are a new set of commercials out…and still so totally funny. I didn’t know this. They are all taken in 1 shot – 1 take. OMG Gayle…she’s totally hitting on him during this interview. He’s single! 37. Father of a 10 year old. So, she SAYS she’s not hitting on him….but WHY NOT? Hello…he’s a cutie! I bet he smells good too. 🙂 Oh, AND he’s in Tyler Perry’s new movie. I bet he’ll smell good there too!
