For all those people out there whispering about Gayle and Oprah and what joining CBS means for Gayle and Oprah…I think you’ve not been paying attention over the years.  With love, Gayle and Oprah have always been authentic and genuine.  While press releases often read cold and lacking joy, just turn on a light and think about it.  This CBS morning deal is Gayle’s opportunity to be on a major (and public) network and worldwide stage.  Think Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric…all on network morning television.  Why wouldn’t Oprah be estatic and filled with JOY for her best friend?  Have you been paying attention over the years?  Even WE are estatic and filled with JOY for Gayle!  While we love the “Gayle King Show” and having her in our OWN life to blog on, it’s an amazing opportunity…and one that Oprah would be the first to say, “You have to do this!”  Don’t think that Gayle won’t be popping up as host on “Ask Oprah’s All Stars” or maybe another show or two on OWN (we are still holding out “Lunch with Gayle”…call us!).

So, relax.  Oprah and Gayle are fine everyone…just chill out.  Gayle started her OWN adventure last January.  In 2012, she’ll start another one.  This is an opportunity of a lifetime and we know that the rest of the world will LOVE her as much as we have grown to over the last few months!   The only thing that Oprah is probably thinking about now is that OWN is putting out such amazing shows and has such great talent that network poachers will be circling OWN and Harpo… Good thing that they have their own General and Co-President.  Good luck Sheri!  We are with you 150%!  Let us know if you need us!
