Because of you, my sister, I am the woman I am today.

When I was young and uncertain, you helped me to find sure footing, reassuring me I was strong.
As I grew into a young woman and found the courage to question the world, you listened and guided me.
Each time I fell, you were there to lift me up and hold me firm so I could handle anything that blew my way.
In my triumphs, you were by my side smiling and standing tall as I shined reminding me that I was a star.

Because of you, my sister, I am the woman I am today.

As I stand at the tallest peak on the greatest of mountains, you are standing next to me holding my hand….and I couldn’t imagine it any other way. You are so much more than me and I love that.
