Carson, our Fashion Interventionist, headed to my home state of California…to up the North coast to the quaint town of Eureka. Charming by the ocean, Eureka has had it’s own earthquakes…but Carson is going to shake it up in a different way. With assistant Ashley by his side, he’s ready for his 4 days of making the world better one person at a time. And this week Carson is ambitious…and making miracles happen for some really special people. Here’s is who is on the agenda:
- Kongmany has let Lupus and life get in the way for too long and is ready to start living and finally have the wedding of her dreams. Inspired by her story, Carson is determined to help Kongmany add brightness to her life by fulfilling her dream of tieing the knot.
- Tatoo Artist, John – Cargo and T-Shirts living is about to get a Carson shake up! John lost his little brother, Joe, and when he did, his life just changed…and he hasn’t shaved since. Ready for a change…and a little dancing too, he’s ready for his makeover.
- Bobi from the Coast Guard – Time for this mom to have some Carson intervention… and feel like a beautiful woman. It all begins at the spa people…and let’s just say WOW!
Here are the Carson Lessons this week…
- Always remember when buying a wedding dress “when you feel that magic, that’s the one…”
- Hair grows back…just go with it. You just might be glad you did.

In the sunshine of Scottsdale, Arizona, Carson takes his little blue trailor to go and make better a few peoples lives. Reminding us that we all have different journeys, this week Carson shows us that it’s our uniqueness that makes us so much the same. Here are the makebetters on this journey this week:
- Lauryn, a transgender who is looking to embrace her new life as a woman and looking for a little Carson magic to make it happen.
- Mark, 45 year old virgin who is in need of some direction to his OWN self-esteem.
- Keli, 50 years young, this mom and nana is in need of a spa makeover to make better her world to remind herself that she needs TLC sometimes too.
Here are the lessons that I left with…this week, there were LOTS of good ones…
- Being who you REALLY are is a GIFT. Honor it everyday. Your Authentic Self.
- Don’t be afraid. Take yourself to the next level.
- Sometimes you need some “Re-Packaging” of your fashion self.
- Contrast colors with your eyes make them POP. (check your color wheel people)
- The more you do it, the better you get at it. “IT” can probably be just about anything.
- Spa and Pampering HAS to be worked into the Priority List…Seriously.
- You have to give yourself your best before you can really give your best to those you love. Take care of YOU first…then everyone else.

As I watch Carson Nation, I can’t help to feel…there is SOMETHING ELSE missing. I don’t know what it is yet. Could it work in a talk show format? I mean, Carson is HILARIOUS and I LOVE him. What to do…what to do…well, for this episode, we’re going to Texas. Hey, YALL…here comes Carson!
As we move through the big state, here are some lessons learned…
- A great haircut can change the way your face looks…and the way you look at yourself.
- Come out of hiding…and into living.
- Mineral makeup helps to cover up…without the clumping and caking up.
- When you go into a room or as you go through your LIFE …be proud of who you are.
- It’s good to look great. It’s even greater to FEEL great.
- Sometimes your outside needs a little help to SHINE to reflect your inside. Make your OWN Carson magic! You deserve it.
- Most women REALLY don’t like men’s facial hair…just an FYI guys.
